SMEs and larger enterprises involved in the healthcare supply chain could find lucrative prospects in such tenders. The direct award method employed highlights a targeted procurement strategy, potentially beneficial for incumbent suppliers with existing compatible products, ensuring minimal disruption in clinical device availability. Companies specializing in medical supply continuity, healthcare equipment, and service support systems, especially those positioned to swiftly adapt to procurement needs without the need for extensive retraining or product replacement, are particularly well-suited to compete in similar future tenders under NHS procurement frameworks.
