Supply and Delivery of Heavy and Municipal Vehicles
Notice Description
This is in relation to the renewal framework for the supply and delivery of Heavy and Municipal Vehicles, available for all 32 council areas in Scotland and Scotland Excel Associate Members. It is anticipated this framework will incorporate various vehicle types, such as, but not limited to, refuse collection vehicles, road sweepers, tippers, skip loaders, gully emptiers, gritters, commercial vehicles, buses, bin lifts, trailers, aerial platforms and lorry mounted cranes. Specialist body building services, as well as options for alternatively fuelled vehicles (electric, hydrogen or hybrid etc) are also included.
Lot Information
Tippers
Lot 4 is for the supply and delivery of Tipper bodies and Complete Tippers. Additional information: Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in Regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. Options: The initial period of the Framework Contract is 24 months from the commencement date with an option to extend for up to a further two 12 month periods subject to satisfactory operation and performance. Any period of extension will be at the sole discretion of Scotland Excel. Duration is 48 months if all options are exercised as stated above.
Renewal: There is an option to extend for up to a further two 12 month periods subject to satisfactory operation and performance.
Skip LoadersLot 5 is for the supply and delivery of Skip Loader bodies and Complete Skip Loaders. Additional information: Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in Regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
