Notice Description
UK Sport requires a venue to host Performance Learning Exchange (PLx), UK Sports annual learning and development event. The venue must have space to accommodate 400 people from Olympic and Paralympic sport over 3 days in plenary sessions and a number of breakout rooms.
Procurement Information
This contract is being directly awarded under Schedule 5, paragraph 5 of the Procurement Act 2023 on the basis that only one supplier can meet the requirement and there are no reasonable alternatives. Market testing confirmed that no other venues are able to accommodate the required dates while also providing the necessary capacity, configuration, and accessible accommodation in a single location. As such, only this venue can deliver the requirement within the required timeframe, and the direct award is considered compliant.
