Hilton Birmingham Metropole meets the needs of all 3 days of PLx while offering good value compared to the other 4 venues. The dates of Monday 30 November to Wednesday 2 December align with the usual date window for PLx that UK Sport suggest is most suitable. The Hilton Birmingham Metropole is the only venue with availability in this week. The venue provides on site opportunities for other gatherings if required, rather than sourcing other venues. The last two PLx events have been delivered in the North of England (Manchester and Leeds), The Hilton Birmingham Metropole offers the opportunity to host the event in a central location ensuring those based in the south are not always impacted by travel.
