Lincolnshire County Council is procuring sensitive body-removal services for coroners in North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire. The contractor will remove deceased people from their place of death, or wherever they lie under the Coroner’s jurisdiction, and transport them directly to a mortuary or another location specified by the Coroner for investigation. The service must account for distressing circumstances involving relatives and bystanders. It is divided into two lots, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire, and suppliers may pursue the area suited to their premises.
