Soft Market Testing Exercise on behalf of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames relating to the potential packaging and tendering of an upcoming contract for a 12-month food and beverage concession contract for Murray Park.

Planning Information

The aim of this exercise is for the Council to gain a better understanding of how the supply market operates in relation to the provision of a concession at Murray Park and to inform the structure of the ongoing service provision. The exercise will help to inform the scope and processes for securing service delivery in an evolving marketplace. The SMTE focuses on the supply market as a whole rather than the merits of individual suppliers and does not commit the Council to any further actions or involvement. This is not a call for competition and the Council is not obliged to follow any advice or guidance provided by Suppliers in this process. Atamis E-sourcing – all tenders are to be carried out electronically as stipulated by the Procurement Act 2023. The Council uses Atamis as an electronic tendering portal and all interested suppliers are advised to register for an account in order to participate in any upcoming market engagement exercise let by the Council.
