Notice Description

NHS Shared Business Services Limited (NHS SBS) intends to put in place a framework agreement that provides approved organisations with clinical managed services, including managed maintenance services to increase efficiency and enhance patient outcomes. Lot 1 offers Clinical Managed Services: Services will include a range of specialities and areas of expertise and will be delivered across a range of healthcare settings. Including but not limited to: pathology; diagnostic imaging, interventional radiology, cath labs, cardiology and radiotherapy (including mobile imaging); endoscopy - flexible and rigid including decontamination equipment; renal - continuous renal replacement therapy including outsourcing and home dialysis; operating theatres - including all equipment and furniture (operating tables), pre op and post op rooms; ward and clinical departments. This lot offers managed service solutions from OEM, vendor neutral (VN) suppliers. Lot 2: Managed maintenance services. Provides managed maintenance services (MMS) ranging from maintenance of specified manufacturers' equipment to a fully outsourced medical engineering (EBME) function

These comprise of NHS and Social Care organisations (whether acting individually, or on behalf of, or together as members of any consortia) along with any other public or private sector bodies which NHS SBS authorises to use the resulting Framework. Our Approved Organisation list can be found on: https://www.sbs.nhs.uk/services/framework-agreements-categories/ NHS SBS intends to put in place a Framework under the Procurement Act 2023 for the provision of Clinical Managed Services and Managed Maintenance Services and related Goods and Services for Healthcare and wider public sector to be used by NHS SBS Approved Organisations. Potential suppliers will need to demonstrate a range of specialities and areas of expertise which will be delivered across a range of healthcare settings. Suppliers Potential suppliers wishing to participate in the preliminary market engagement should read the PME introduction document and complete and submit the Preliminary Market Engagement Questionnaire (PMEQ) on SAP Ariba before midday (GMT) 12 noon on 18/08/2026 , further information regarding the proposed framework can be found via the following link: https://portal.us.bn.cloud.ariba.com/dashboard/public/appext/comsapsbncdiscoveryui#/RfxEvent/preview/1110017208?anId=ANONYMOUS We are committed to working with suppliers who are dedicated to Sustainability and Social Value and there will be a significant weighting on this. NHS SBS will use an eSourcing system for any procurement activity taken subsequent to this notice. The eSourcing system we will use is SAP Ariba.
