Notice Information
Notice Title
Vessel Management System
Notice Description
Trinity House is currently considering the future provision of a Vessel Management System (VMS) to support two new buoy tender vessels being introduced as part of the vessel replacement programme. Existing fleet management arrangements for the current vessel fleet will remain in place during this period, with Danaos continuing to support the legacy vessels. Any future procurement resulting from this market engagement is therefore anticipated to focus on the implementation of a vessel management solution for the two new vessels only. The purpose of this market engagement is to better understand the solutions available in the market, associated implementation approaches, commercial models, and innovation opportunities to inform future procurement and contract award decisions. Planning Information
Trinity House is undertaking a market engagement exercise to inform the potential future procurement of a Vessel Management System (VMS) to support two new buoy tender vessels being introduced as part of its vessel replacement programme. The RFI document, including draft requirements and supporting information, is available for interested suppliers to access via the Delta eSourcing portal: To Respond to this Opportunity, please click here: https://www.delta-esourcing.com/respond/V668NJN2KR Suppliers wishing to participate are requested to register on the Delta portal and download the RFI documentation. The purpose of this engagement is to help Trinity House better understand the current market, available technologies, commercial approaches, implementation considerations, and future innovations relevant to vessel management solutions. Information gathered through this exercise will be used to inform business case development, requirements refinement, and any future procurement activity. Trinity House welcomes feedback on all aspects of the RFI documentation and is particularly interested in understanding any areas that suppliers consider unclear, restrictive, or that may present challenges to market participation. This market engagement exercise does not constitute a call for competition, commitment to commence a procurement process, or any commitment by Trinity House to award a contract. Trinity House reserves the right to amend, supplement or withdraw any aspect of the documentation at its sole discretion. Participation in this exercise is entirely voluntary, and suppliers will not be disadvantaged in any future procurement process should they choose not to respond. Suppliers wishing to participate should complete the response template contained within the RFI documentation and upload their completed submission via the Delta eSourcing portal by the stated deadline. Responses submitted outside of the portal may not be considered. Suppliers are encouraged to provide as much detail as possible in response to the questions contained within the RFI, together with any supporting information they consider relevant to assist Trinity House in understanding available solutions, implementation approaches, commercial models, and market capabilities.
