Summary of the contracting process

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership Procurement Services, hosted by Velindre University NHS Trust, intends to buy medical dressings, intravenous dressings and surgical tapes for use across Wales. The scope covers 22 product groups, including chlorhexidine and non-ported, ported, central venous catheter and peripherally inserted central catheter dressings; extra-adhesive and paediatric IV dressings; foam, island, absorbent and paraffin gauze dressings; wound closure strips; and elasticated, non-elasticated, woven, non-woven, plastic, silicone, soft cloth and surgical tapes. Planning Information
