Notice Description

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council invites tenders from suitably experienced event management organisations for the planning, management and delivery of the Christmas Lights Switch-On Event in Omagh AND/OR Enniskillen on Saturday 21st 2026 and November 2027 (date to be confirmed). The Council wishes to deliver vibrant, inclusive and high-quality Christmas Lights Switch-On events that bring people, families and communities together to celebrate the start of the festive season, create lasting memories and promoting Omagh and Enniskillen as welcoming, lively and attractive shopping towns.

Lot 1

Renewal: There is an option to extend the contract for the second period commencing February 2027 until January 2028. Delivery/completion of the second period of the contract is required by the event date in November 2027 (to be confirmed). This option to extend is entirely at the discretion of the Council and will be subject to satisfactory performance and successful delivery of the November 2026 event, as determined by the Council through post-event evaluation, compliance with contractual requirements and achievement of agreed outputs.
