Bidders must provide two examples from the previous three years, together with two satisfactory, signed customer references for those contracts. Financial capacity includes minimum annual turnover of £333,000 for North Ayrshire, £300,000 for South Ayrshire, or £633,000 when bidding for both lots. Suppliers need public liability insurance of £10 million, employer’s liability insurance of £5 million, products liability insurance of £10 million, and appropriate motor insurance. They must meet quality, health and safety and environmental requirements through recognised certification or documented policies. Subcontracting is permitted, subject to disclosure and additional requirements above 25%.
