Historic Environment Scotland is procuring painting services as required across its Edinburgh and Stirling regions. Financial standing will be assessed through an independent business credit report; audited accounts and bank details may be requested where necessary. The required insurance levels are £5 million employers’ liability and £10 million public liability. Bidders are encouraged to offer community benefits, such as local apprenticeships or work placements. Suppliers must accept HES’s terms without negotiation and cannot submit variant proposals.
