Summary of the contracting process

The Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is in the planning stage of a tender process for a Measured Term Contract (MTC), aiming to engage in a contract worth up to £36,564,208.80 over a possible duration of 84 months. The procurement process, set to commence its contract period on 14th September 2027, involves services across multiple disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, painting and decorating, building work, fire doors, and flooring. This project will be delivered across several sites, including the City & Weston Hospital Operating Unit and Southmead Hospital Operating Unit in the UKK region, United Kingdom. Interested suppliers must express their interest and provide feedback by 6th August 2026, following the Competitive Flexible procedure under the Procurement Act 2023.

This tender opens opportunities for businesses specialising in construction, repair, maintenance services, and installation services. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are particularly encouraged to participate, as the procurement is designed to support smaller companies, with lots structured to allow more than one supplier to be awarded in areas such as mechanical, electrical, and building work. This project allows businesses to establish or strengthen their presence in the public healthcare sector, potentially securing long-term service contracts. Interested parties are advised to register on the SAP Business Network Discovery Portal, ensuring they are positioned for both this tender and future projects with the Trust.
