National Grid Electricity Transmission plc is seeking a provider to manage the continuing airworthiness of its Bell 429 helicopter fleet and deliver maintenance, engineering support, hangarage and associated logistics. The work is intended to keep the aircraft safe, compliant with aviation regulations and available for operational use. This is aviation maintenance and support services, including helicopter repair and maintenance, storage and air transport support. Delivery is across England, covering the North East, North West, Yorkshire and the Humber, East Midlands, West Midlands, East of England, London, South East and South West. National Grid invited offers through a single-submission competitive flexible procedure. The procurement is at tender stage.
