Summary of the contracting process

Coventry City Council is procuring the main construction works for the expansion of Keresley Grange Primary School in Coventry. The project covers new-build and refurbishment works, including six classrooms, an assembly hall and dining space, two small-group rooms, staff and administration areas, pupil and staff toilets, storage, kitchen preparation facilities and plant-room space. Existing school accommodation will also be refurbished to provide eight full-sized classrooms and associated areas. Experience of working in or around operational education environments would be commercially relevant, particularly where the contractor can coordinate new-build and refurbishment activities safely and efficiently.
