Summary of the contracting process

Yorkshire Water Services Limited is procuring a commercially supported biosolids recycling management system. The service must manage, track and provide compliance assurance for treated sludge and biosolids across the full operational process, including production, storage, sampling, order processing, permitting, delivery, field application and reporting. The work will support operations across North West England, Yorkshire and the Humber, and the West Midlands. Relevant delivery capability includes data migration, systems integration, implementation, user training, ongoing technical support and maintenance. Suppliers will need to demonstrate technical quality and organisational capability during the Conditions of Participation stage and subsequent tender stages, then align with Yorkshire Water’s standard contractual terms and regulatory obligations. The requirement is better suited to vendors with an existing configurable product and experience delivering complex operational systems than to teams focused on wholly bespoke software development.
