Market Engagement Notice - Upcoming Bikeability Training Tender Opportunity The Council is notifying the market of an upcoming procurement opportunity for the delivery of Bikeability training services. The tender opportunity is expected to be published in the coming months. The contract will cover the delivery of Bikeability training, including Learn to Ride provision and Bikeability Levels 1-3, alongside SEND and Inclusion provision, supporting children and young people at different stages of cycling ability and ensuring that training is accessible to all participants. Bikeability is a nationally recognised cycle training programme funded by the Bikeability Trust on behalf of the Department for Transport. The programme plays an important role in supporting the Council's wider objectives, including improving road safety and reducing casualties, encouraging active travel and healthier lifestyles, and contributing towards climate change and sustainability ambitions. The Council invites interested providers to look out for the forthcoming procurement opportunity and encourages suitably experienced organisations with the capability to deliver high-quality, inclusive cycle training services to participate in the tender process when published.
