Notice Description
The GDC invites qualified and experienced service providers to submit tenders for the provision of comprehensive office maintenance services at its premises. The objective of this contract is to ensure that office facilities are maintained in a safe, functional, professional, and efficient condition to support business operations. The successful provider will be responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance and reactive repair services across office premises, including: - General building maintenance and repairs. - Electrical maintenance and minor electrical works. - Plumbing maintenance and repairs. - Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) maintenance. - Health and safety compliance inspections and corrective actions. - Emergency call-out services for urgent maintenance issues. - Routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities. All services will be delivered in accordance with relevant health and safety legislation, statutory requirements, and industry best practices, with minimal disruption to business operations.
Lot Information
Lot 1: Office Maintenance Services for GDC Birmingham Premises
The successful provider will be responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance and reactive repair services across GDC's Birmingham office premises, including general building maintenance, electrical and plumbing repairs, heating, and ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The contractor will be required to provide timely response to maintenance requests, emergency call-out services where necessary, and routine inspections to identify and address potential issues proactively.
Renewal: The initial contract period is two (2) years, with the option for the GDC to extend the contract for up to a further three (3) years. The Authority may exercise extension options in increments of one year or less, with written notice provided to the Supplier prior to the commencement of each extension period. The Authority will determine the increments in which the final contract period may be exercised and will communicate this decision in writing to the Supplier.
Lot 2: Office Maintenance Services for GDC London PremisesThe successful provider will be responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance and reactive repair services across GDC's London office premises, including general building maintenance, electrical and plumbing repairs, heating, and ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The contractor will be required to provide timely response to maintenance requests, emergency call-out services where necessary, and routine inspections to identify and address potential issues proactively.
