Summary of the contracting process

The Riverside Group Limited is in the planning phase for a contract titled "Social Value and Sustainability Management Portal," intended to streamline social value and sustainability efforts within its procurement operations. Based in Speke, Liverpool, this public procurement opportunity falls under the software package and information systems industry category, with delivery expected in the UK. The procurement process follows an open method, specifically below threshold - open competition, and a contract period is planned from 1st December 2026 to 30th November 2029, with a possible extension to 2031. Detailed market engagement is currently underway to refine the tender process and enable efficient supplier selection.

This procurement represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in cloud-based software solutions related to social value and sustainability. Companies that can provide comprehensive systems for managing, monitoring, and reporting on social and environmental metrics will find this contract especially relevant. The open competitive process ensures a level playing field for eligible businesses, allowing them to demonstrate innovation and efficiency. This project is an ideal growth opportunity for tech firms aiming to expand their client base in the public sector by developing transparent and auditable systems that comply with the contracting authority's requirements.
