Notice Description
This notice is to inform the market the intention to award the contract for above to Computer Imprintable Label Systems (CILS). The All Wales Medical Genomics Service (AWMGS) requires the ongoing supply of specialist laboratory specimen labels and thermal transfer ribbons currently supplied by Computer Imprintable Label Systems (CILS). These labels have been validated for use within the SCC Soft Computer GLIMS laboratory information management system and are essential for specimen identification, barcode traceability, regulatory compliance and continuity of diagnostic services.
Procurement Information
The products supplied include paper specimen labels, polyester slide labels, cryogenic labels, high-temperature resistant labels and thermal transfer ribbons. These products are integral to the operation of the SCC Soft Computer GLIMS Laboratory Information Management System and support specimen identification, barcode traceability, regulatory compliance and continuity of diagnostic services. The labels are utilised across molecular genetics and cytogenetics services and are required to remain durable and legible under challenging laboratory conditions, including temperatures ranging from -196degC to +96degC and long-term specimen storage of up to 30 years.
