Regent Street forms a part of The Crown Estate's wider Central London portfolio, and any activity taking place on the street requires engagement with and, where appropriate, approval from The Crown Estate as the principal landowner and estate manager. The work covers all requirements associated with the delivery of the Regent Street flag installation, including: Obtaining the necessary advertising consents, permits and road closure approvals from Westminster City Council. Production of the flags. Installation and removal (de-rig) of the flags. The venue hire and management fee payable to The Crown Estate. As the landowner and estate manager of Regent Street, the Crown Estate is responsible for coordinating and managing these elements as part of the overall contract. The flags will be designed by the NFL and will incorporate a London-specific theme, including the Mayor of London branding.
