Notice Information
Notice Title
Women's Homelessness Engagement Pathway
Notice Description
Manchester City Council intends to commission a community-based early intervention and support service for women experiencing homelessness. The service will support women facing significant barriers to accessing housing, health, and support services, many of whom have experienced multiple disadvantages such as domestic abuse, trauma, poor mental health, substance misuse, neurodivergence, and other complex needs. The service will deliver gender-informed, trauma-responsive support within a safe and psychologically informed environment, helping women address homelessness, improve wellbeing, increase independence, and sustain accommodation. Working in partnership with statutory and voluntary sector organisations, the service will provide support through a community-based drop-in model and aims to assist at least 400 women annually. The successful provider must have access to suitable premises from which to deliver the service.
