Notice Description
Severn Trent Water Limited (STW) intends to establish a multi-supplier framework agreement for Coal Mining Risk Assessment. The framework will support both planned and reactive work. STW is seeking to understand market appetite and capability in advance of finalising the procurement strategy. The scope and structure of the framework may therefore be refined following this engagement. STW intends to establish a framework agreement for the delivery of Coal Mining Risk Assessments. The scope of services is expected to include but not limited to: * Present a desk-based review of all available information on the potential coal mining hazards which are relevant to the site; * Use that information to identify and assess the hazards to the proposed development from coal mining legacy, including any cumulative impact; * Set out the necessary mitigation measures or works that will need to be adopted to enable safe development; * Provide information to input into a Coal Authority permit application to disturb or enter coal mining interests and any subsequent licences and/or agreements that may be needed for construction The framework will support both planned programmes and reactive requirements. STW is undertaking this procurement to establish a multi-supplier framework capable of Coal Mining Risk Assessments. STW is particularly interested in understanding how suppliers can support efficient, repeatable delivery and consistent performance outcomes. The scope and structure of the framework may be refined following this notice and subsequent market engagement.
