The provision of planned preventative maintenance, servicing, testing, reactive maintenance and emergency support for medical gas pipeline systems at Hillingdon Hospital and Mount Vernon Hospital.

Lot 1
Direct Award to SHJ Hospital Pipelines Limited, trading as SHJ Medical & Lab Gas Specialists, for the provision of medical gas pipeline maintenance services across Hillingdon Hospital and Mount Vernon Hospital. The services include four planned preventative maintenance visits per site per year, annual servicing of associated plant, LEV testing where required, reactive maintenance and 24-hour emergency support with a four-hour attendance and initial assessment requirement. The contract will run for an initial period of 36 months from 21 September 2026 to 20 September 2029, with two optional extensions of 12 months each. Additional information: The contract was awarded through NHS Shared Business Services' Hard Facilities Management 2 Framework Agreement, reference SBS10166, Lot 8.5 - Air Compressors and Medical Gas Pipelines. The initial 36-month contract value is PS178,573.71 excluding VAT. The maximum value, including both optional extensions, is PS306,700.34 excluding VAT.
Options: Two optional extensions of 12 months each. If both extensions are exercised, the contract will expire on 20 September 2031. The first extension is valued at PS62,500.79 excluding VAT and the second at PS65,625.84 excluding VAT.
Procurement Information
The contract was awarded through the direct award provisions of the NHS Shared Business Services Hard Facilities Management 2 Framework Agreement, reference SBS10166, Lot 8.5. The framework was established following a compliant procurement process and permits participating authorities to make a direct award in accordance with Regulation 33 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
