Notice Description

Coventry City Council ("the Council") is responsible for the collection and disposal of a range of waste streams arising within the boundaries of the city. The Council is seeking a contractor for the collection, transportation, treatment and disposal of clinical waste arising from Coventry residential areas. The contract will cover all relevant clinical waste streams, including hazardous clinical waste, offensive waste, infectious waste, sharps waste, and associated consumables where required.

Renewal: The initial term of the Contract will be for the period of four (4) years from commencement, but may be extended, by mutual agreement by two (2) increments of twelve (12) months to an expiry date no later than 30 November 2032. The Contract will be subject to review in during the initial term and the results of those reviews will inform the Council's decision as to whether any extension period will be offered.
