Swansea University has set up a Physics Laboratory to ensure delivery of an outstanding student experience as part of the Ser-SAM program (Science and Engineering Research: Sustainable Advanced Materials), based on research-led and practice-driven teaching of the highest quality.The creation of a new Physics Laboratory involved a significant amount of next generation optoelectronics and bioelectronics with the overall vision of creating a truly world-class research capability for Wales within this area of instrumental. The new laboratory therefore required a range of electrical, optical, laser and photonics instrumentation
