Notification of Award of previously advertised opportunity:To replace the existing boardwalk utilising the existing timber piles. The contractor is to confirm the condition and location of piles to confirm proposed arrangement prior to ordering components.It is proposed that approximately 40% of the top of the piles may be rotten and need to be spliced. The new arrangement should be put into place in accordance with the drawings provided by the employer. It is important to note that all the dimensions included in drawings are indicative and need to be confirmed by the contractor on site.Blockstones are to be placed at either end of the structure aslandings.The scheme involves working in and over a watercourse.Suitable temporary works will also be required.The contract is NEC3 Contract.The tender process is in a single stage which is awarded based 100% on cost
