Notice Title

Education Tuition Provision

Notice Description

Denbighshire County Council School Improvement and Inclusion Service is responsible for the statutory education of all pupils aged 11-16 that are educated other than at school (EOTAS).The definition of EOTAS is broad and DCC define this as provision not at school for pupils whose best interests for achievement and future progression are best served by that provision. All pupils experience some social emotional and behavioural difficulties (SEBD).There is therefore a range of provision which pupils access as part of EOTAS. The packages are flexible and is based upon an individual assessment of needs. The Inclusion service wishes therefore to commission an education tuition provider that can deliver literacy, numeracy and science provision for identified EOTAS students in KS4. In exceptional cases KS3 pupils may also need to be supported as they await their permanent placement. Courses will need to include embedded Essential Skills and be delivered through a varied programme of themes/topics to upskill learners in these subject areas.
