Nuclear Futures Institute is currently developing a dedicated mechanical testing lab for research into high-temperature deformation of materials. As part of the lab, we are looking to purchase a high-temperature mechanical and fracture testing machine. The machine will be based at the university campus of the Bangor university. The machine will primarily be used for the research purpose by the academics, postdocs and research students of the institute. There will be provision for outside research institutions and industries to access the machine commercially.
