The ION Programme runs targeted leadership programmes that aim to raise productivity in the workplace, develop sustainable and profitable enterprises, and develop extraordinary leaders.Leading Business Growth has designed a series of programmes to develop, enhance and evolve individual leadership and management skills, enabling business leaders to raise productivity in the workplace and develop sustainable profitable enterprises. Our integrated and cohesive leadership and Management development programmes, branded as ION Leadership provide two different yet complementary programme optionsAs part of our programme delegates have the opportunity to undertake a personality profile to support them in understanding their behaviours and identify development needs. At the start of the programme in 2016 DiSC Work of Leaders for Leading Growth were selected as most appropriate, fitting well with our programme content and delivery style.To offer this profile, all delivery staff have undergone training to become licenced practitioners to enable them to effectively use this profile with the delegates. The programme delivery has been designed to integrate this profile both in workshops and one to one coaching sessions.This profile has been used successfully to support individual and team development in organisations and have received excellent feedback from delegates. It is essential for consistency and reporting that this continues to the end of the programme in 2023, as approximately 70% of our delegates have been drawn from alumni organisations, to introduce a different tool at this point be difficult for pre 2020 ION alumni and post 2021 delegates to share reports and understand each other's report language. This report specifically focuses on the skills/traits of highly effective leaders making clear links to the programme outcomes.The ION project has a requirement for the supply of credits for the DiSC Work of Leaders profile to enable the ION Leadership Delivery team to* encourage leaders to understand their own behaviours and how they impact their own effectiveness* build a targeted action plan by leveraging best practices.
