AWEN CULTURAL TRUST

This public procurement record has 1 release in its history.

Summary of the contracting process

The Awen Cultural Trust is seeking contractors for arboriculture works at Bryngarw Country Park. This tender, focused on services in the agricultural, forestry, horticultural, aquacultural, and apicultural industries, is currently in the Award stage, following the contract being signed on 3rd January 2022. The project involves various tree management tasks across the park, which is located in Bridgend, Wales. Key tasks include felling trees, coppicing, and pruning, with an emphasis on conducting site visits prior to bid submission to assess accessibility and project details.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in forestry and landscape services, particularly those experienced in tree management and safety protocols. Companies capable of performing detailed site assessments and familiar with bat survey requirements would be particularly well-suited. As the project focuses on the health and maintenance of trees in a public park, firms that prioritise environmental sustainability and public safety will find a competitive advantage, making this a suitable opportunity for both small and larger enterprises in the sector.
