Backing Local Firms: grants to reduce carbon in the built environment
Notice Description
The Welsh Government wants to support local suppliers and assist them to become skilled in areas that will contribute to carbon reduction in the built environment.A competitive grant scheme is being run across Wales covering five separate regions - South East, South West, Mid Wales, North East and North West Wales, each region will have one successful grant recipient of up to PS29,000.The following are examples of the kinds of areas to consider:* Reducing carbon emissions* Creating high quality employment and fair work* Improving skills base / training* Developing innovation and entrepreneurship* Developing automation/digitalisation* Business to business collaboration / forming consortiaFederation of Master Builders, operating on behalf of the Welsh Government, is administering a grant scheme to business within the building and building engineering sphere that will assist them to develop new skills and enhance existing skills, contributing to carbon reduction in the built environment.EligibilityApplicants must be:* An existing Welsh SME* Working within the built environment* Be able to demonstrate their main operational presence is within WalesNOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=117402.
