Notice Description

The Supplier will establish a regular, systematic study ('the Survey') to collect data and provide broad, ongoing intelligence about the registered and unregistered workforce in social care and social work in Wales.It's anticipated the Survey will include structured data gathered through a large-scale survey, to be supplemented by qualitative data collection to provide richer information and insights into specific themes and/or topics. The survey and supplementary data collection will allow us to identify trends and patterns and inform policy and operational decisions for Social Care Wales, Welsh Government and sponsored bodies, local authorities and other stakeholders in social care and social work.The regular Survey would complement the administrative data we collect through our registration and fitness to practise processes, and through annual mandatory data collection about the workforce from employers across Wales.The aims and objectives of the contract are to:- Carry out a scoping and feasibility study for the survey, with high-level recommendations for its design and implementation (Stage 1)- Develop and deliver a pilot survey, using the registered workforce, to test and finesse the approach (Stage 2)
