Summary of the contracting process

Notice Description

The Vale of Glamorgan Council ("the Council") wishes to establish a framework agreement ("the agreement") for the electrical installation, rewiring, testing, inspection, repair and maintenance of its housing stock ("the Works").The Works will be in the form of a framework and will operate for a period of three (3) years, with the option to extend for up to an additional one (1) year.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=118228.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility. A user guide is available at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/sitehelp/help_guides.aspx.Suppliers are advised to allow adequate time for uploading documents and to dispatch the electronic response well in advance of the closing time to avoid any last minute problems. Bidders may request clarification on this Invitation to Tender by contacting the Council through the Sell2Wales portal no later than 12 Noon on Friday 11th February 2022.All Contact with the Council must be through the portal, please be aware that the Council will not accept any tenders sent by any other means.Please ensure that all the required documents are completed, and returned as instructed, including the Form of Tender.(WA Ref:118228)Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority's economic and social objectives.
