Notice Description

Natural Resources Wales would like to offer the exclusive use of a modest Log Cabin to a not for profit organisation that has the capacity to provide training and activities that will encourage young people to engage in outdoor activities. The successful organisation will secure exclusive rights to use the building for the purposes described in a 5 year lease agreement with Natural Resources Wales. A rental fee of PS500 per year will be levied in order to cover capital depreciation costs as well as ensuring that the offer is available to organisation that provide as economically accessibly service, to as wide a representation of the community as possible.Included in the scope:Exclusive rights to use a system built log cabin for the purpose of using as a base for promoting safe and responsible access to the outdoors via training and activities:6.7m x 13m: Building and decking only* Plan 1 - Coed y Brenin Cabin* Plan 2 - LocationThe building has no services and in is good structural condition.Excluded from the scope:Exclusive use of any other facilities including skills park, parking, trails, or visitor centre.Rights to demand improvements to services or facilities other than structural or health and safety maintenance and repair.The rights to exemption from parking or other charges other than those already provided to local residents etc.Further detail of the scope.Your submission must include:Description of the training and activities provided and how you feel this will meet the requirement of enabling as wide a representation of the community to engage in the outdoor.Examples of charges to the public or funding means to ensure your organisations financial sustainability while providing an accessible service.Projected accounts demonstrating how your training and activities will be as economically accessible as possible while at the same time generating enough income to cover costs and investment in as economically sustainable manner without incurring profit.
