Notice Description

Actif Sport & Leisure is Carmarthenshire County Council's leisure service which operates across the County. The service comprises of 6 Leisure Facilities which includes 5 swimming pools. Pre-Covid, there was a membership base of over 3900 with an annual income of PS1.8 million. However, the recovery process has been slower than expected and currently have only 2150 members with income only recovering to 62% of pre covid figures. Group exercise has shown to have grown in popularity following the easing of Covid restrictions and is a proven retention tool. Our existing fitness classes are very popular, and we are looking to further enhance and compete with our local partners by teaming up with a globally recognised brand.
