Construction of a H2ACE Pilot Plant
Notice Description
The University of South Wales Sustainable Environment Research Centre has designed a pilot scale bioreactor for the biofermentation of Hydrogen and Carbon Dioxide for the production and extraction of Volatile Fatty Acids (VFAs). The new pilot plant will be situated at the Hydrogen Centre, Baglan, SA12 7AX, inside a shipping container (20ft l x 8ft w x 9ft6 h external dimensions).The University are looking for a contractor to complete the construction of the H2ACE pilot plant, including the installation of electrical equipment, Hydrogen, Carbon dioxide and Nitrogen gas lines, the details of which are set out in the sections of the attached document.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=120481.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility. A user guide is available at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/sitehelp/help_guides.aspx.Suppliers are advised to allow adequate time for uploading documents and to dispatch the electronic response well in advance of the closing time to avoid any last minute problems. Your tender submission must be uploaded to the Sell2Wales portal Postbox.Your submission must be received by the closing time and date of midday, Wednesday 27th April 2022.You should allow adequate time for the loading of your documents so as to ensure receipt as the Postbox will electronically close at the deadline time and no further submissions will be accepted.All queries in relation to the tender should be conducted via the Q&A function attached to this notice.Your tender submission will be evaluated as per the Tender Evaluation criteria attached to this notice.Site visits must be conducted whilst the tender is live.
