Planning Consultancy Services (Regional Wood Facility)
Notice Description
Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council ("the Authority") is leading a Regional Wood Recycling Facility at the Council's Silent Valley waste services site near Ebbw Vale. ("the Project"), in a partnership being formed with a group of Welsh Local Authorities in Wales.The Authority wishes to engage the services of a specialist firm to provide a range of planning consultancy services, act as the "Planning Agent" to the project and support the next phase of the proposed wood recycling facility's development.In addition to planning services, the scope will also include a range of services to complete the Sustainable Drainage application to the relevant Statutory Body in Wales ("SAB").NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process. This will move the ITT from the 'Open to all Suppliers' area to the 'My ITT's' on the home page.-- You will then see the full details of the ITT in the Qualification, Technical and Commercial envelopes along with any relevant documents in the 'Attachments' area.-- Tenderers are required to provide responses to:--the Selection Questionnaire within the Qualification Envelope--the Method Statements within the Technical Envelope--upload the requested Pricing information within the Commercial Envelope.-- Should you have any questions on the ITT, please use the 'Messages' area to contact the buyer directly - Do not contact the named person at the top of this notice.Deadlines for submissions is 12 noon GMT Tuesday the 31st May 2022 with clarifications allowed until 5:00pm on the Wednesday 25th May 2022.Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the Authority's economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations.(WA Ref:120780)The buyer considers that this contract is suitable for consortia bidding.
