Notice Description

The Digital Services Division on behalf of South Wales Police, Gwent Police, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service and South Wales Fire and Rescue Service are looking to explore the market in relation to video streaming, be that in support of the control rooms, or in specialist disciplines.We are seeking suitable potential suppliers to attend a virtual supplier day that will consist of a 30-minute appointment with representatives from the police and the fire services on Wednesday 1st June 2022 for pre-market engagement to develop our understanding of the market and the solutions available.The sessions will consist of a 20-minute presentation and 10-minute Question and answer session.The presentation should include but not limited to the following information:* Overview of the product* Road map for future development* Police and Fire services specific use cases of the product in an operational and non-operational setting.Use Cases Below* Being able to see a scene live, without deploying any resource including kit (drones etc).* Specialist incidents including firearms, public order events and major/serious incidents* Interviewing victims or witnesses without deploying a resource* Reporting person, asset tracking, be that of a officer, specialist, or vehicle.If you are interested please email swp-procurement@south-wales.police.uk by the Wednesday 18th May 2022 with the subject title 'VET-Supplier Day' The sessions will be conducted through Teams.Please note this is for pre-market engagement only to help the organisations above gain more knowledge of the market and products availableNOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=121088.
