The concept of the design is one of highly flexible space with Immersive Wall technology to enhance the simulation and mixed reality programmes run by the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Science at Swansea University.",

At testing, projection scope and clarity were queried, impacting image definition on simulation walls. Suitably upgraded equipment from the specification, replacing the superior option of the original tender, was sourced and costed by the contractor to deliver the required performance. A project budget review allowed extra funding for the upgraded equipment to ensure the Simulation experience. The price increase is not without an equivalent improvement in the capability. Delay of the immersive walls installation would impact teaching capabilities, student intake, the Faculty's ability to meet their course commitment and add costs to create learning space."
