Trivallis are seeking to appoint an experienced contractor to undertake the design and construction of of the conversion of the existing school into 10Nr communal flats, and 1Nr house to provide 11 Nr dwellings in total, together with site preparation works, external works and drainage including any required offsite drainage and highways works.The works will take place at the former Miskin School Site, located within the county borough of Rhondda Cynon Taf.This tender exercise is intended to assist Trivallis in selecting a single, suitable partner to deliver the required works.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process. To obtain further information record your interest on Sell2Wales at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/search/search_switch.aspx?ID=121650 (WA Ref:121650)Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority's economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:The RequirementTrivallis is a Responsible Business and is making a positive impact on society working to improve the social, cultural, environmental, and economic well-being of Rhondda Cynon Taff is important to us.Trivallis wants to address the long-term impact of their decisions, by helping to alleviate poverty within our communities and delivering community benefit opportunities which give back to our communities across Rhondda Cynon Taff.It is imperative that the winning bidder can support the delivery of social value when delivering the contract and will be asked to detail the level of community benefits, they could provide if successfully appointed.Please summarise below how your company could support in our commitment to give back to our communities through community benefit and social value programmes.Responses to this section will be shared with our Senior Manager of Partnerships who will contact you 3 weeks following your agreed contract date to develop an individual Community Benefit Plan with you.
