Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) are undertaking a review of Health Professional Education and Training Services delivered to NHS Wales. HEIW are seeking to procure Clinical Psychology education and training.

Lot 1

HEIW is seeking to commission psychology education for Wales in 3 areas; 1. level 8 Doctor of Clinical Psychology (DClinPsych) 2. level 7 Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology (CAAPs) 3. level 7 Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to be accredited at level 1 with British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy (BABCP). The HEIW CAAPs/DClinPsy/CBT project group is working to scope the parameters of the aforementioned education. A stakeholder event will be held Thursday 11th August 2022 at 12pm to seek the views of potential education providers. HEIW would like to ensure a wide range of education provider stakeholders are represented at the event.
