To promote the opportunities available to providers Carmarthenshire is holding a market briefing session, which will be held at The Beacon, Dafen, Llanelli, SA14 8LQ on Friday 7th October 2022 at 11:00. The briefing session will provide an overview of the new Framework as well as details on the service specification and tender process which is expected to be live in mid-October 2022.     "description": "This tender will be for the cutting by mechanical means of highway grass verges on high speed and low speed single and dual carriageways within Carmarthenshire , including Amenity sites and Biodiversity sites . For the purpose of this tender the activities have been divided into 4 Lots. Lots 1,2 and 3 will have location plans supplied. The verge mowing of the single carriageways will be on lot 4 and will only require the supply of two tractors with a side arm flail including operators. Tenderers may tender for one or more lots, but the Council will require to be satisfied as to the tenderers resources and performance ability before awarding the work. Experience in undertaking this type of work on a public highway is a requirement of this contract. Final allocation of work will be decided by the Council based on resource availability on a countywide basis and the Council's decision is final.
