Notice Description

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Dyfed Powys is looking to appoint contractors to its emergency boarding up scheme from across the counties of Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Powys that can provide boarding up services to properties requiring being re-secured.It is anticipated that the service will be delivered by several contractors based in the counties and able to meet service demand within the response times required.Contracts will be awarded for a period of two years with the option to extend on an annual basis for up to a further two years.The work will consist of the re-securing of properties which is to be achieved generally by the boarding-up of unsecured windows and doors and in some cases may include the need to secure scenes of crime by supplying and fitting hasps and padlocks.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
