Clinical Review of Future Health Models
Notice Description
The Client aims to award a contract to conduct a review of both UHB's Future Clinical Health Models. The successful Bidder will be awarded a 12-month contract with an estimated contract value of between GBP 80,000 to GBP 100,000 (exc. VAT). Following scrutiny by Welsh Government Officials and consideration by Ministers, it was agreed that the UHB's progress their Business Cases to the next stage of development by producing Strategic Outline Cases for their schemes. To ensure that the proposals are progressing in an agreed direction, it has been decided that an independent review of the associated Clinical Models is commissioned to ensure they are wholly aligned to better patient outcomes through soundly developed models of care that fit the strategic objectives for delivering healthcare in Wales.Learning lessons from previous schemes, we intend to commission Clinical Reviews early on in the process to ensure that organisations are progressing down the right path - before significant further resource is expended on business case development fees. The purpose of the reviews will be to challenge the Health Boards Clinical Models' through independent scrutiny to ensure that the models are clinically appropriate and fit for purpose and if supported, would deliver the best outcomes for what would be very significant investment in the healthcare system.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
