Car Park Security Services for the Vale of Glamorgan Council 2023 Re-issue

Notice Description

The Vale of Glamorgan Council ("the Council") requires the supply of security at four car parks in Barry and associated services ("the Services").Any future agreement will operate for a period of three (3) years, with the option to extend for up to an additional one (1) year.This is a re-issue of the tender which closed on 15 February.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=129571.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility. A user guide is available at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/sitehelp/help_guides.aspx.Suppliers are advised to allow adequate time for uploading documents and to dispatch the electronic response well in advance of the closing time to avoid any last minute problems. This is a re-issue of the tender which closed on Feb 15th. Please accept the Council's apologies if you submitted a response previously and be assured that the submissions have not been opened. You are welcome to re-submit via this tender.The Council believes that its current contract is subject to TUPE ("Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 as amended" and related enactments). Bidders must obtain their own independent legal advice to satisfy themselves of the applicability of the regulations.The Vale of Glamorgan Council has declared a Climate and Nature emergency and is committed to working with suppliers that contribute to our journey towards Net Zero Carbon.Tenders may be submitted in Welsh and will be treated no less favourably than a tender submitted in English.(WA Ref:129571)
