Rights of Way Infrastructure Improvements for the Vale of Glamorgan
Notice Description
The Vale of Glamorgan Council ("the Council") wishes to obtain fixed price quotations for the replacement and installation of public rights of way infrastructure.The works are part of a grant-funded project to improve bridle access across the five south-central counties of Wales. The Vale of Glamorgan Council are the leading authority on behalf of the other local authorities.The intention is to replace existing infrastructure in agreed locations with better access for equine and other users.Landowner permission has been sought. The works are required to be complete before 31st May 2023.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=129598.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility. A user guide is available at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/sitehelp/help_guides.aspx.Suppliers are advised to allow adequate time for uploading documents and to dispatch the electronic response well in advance of the closing time to avoid any last minute problems. It is expected that the works will commence on 27th March 2023.The Vale of Glamorgan Council has declared a Climate and Nature emergency and is committed to working with suppliers that contribute to our journey towards Net Zero Carbon.Tenders may be submitted in Welsh and will be treated no less favourably than a tender submitted in English.(WA Ref:129598)
