Notice Description

The Department of Biosciences within the Faculty of Science & Engineering at Swansea University wish to purchase equipment to analyse Total Organic Carbon (TOC) in aqueous samples. This will be used to support research and teaching focussing on fluvial organic carbon fluxes, primarily from peatlands, but will be used to analyse a variety of water samples.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process. To obtain further information record your interest on Sell2Wales at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/search/search_switch.aspx?ID=129779 It is essential that this purchase is invoiced and paid for (not necessarily delivered) by 31st July 2023 and where delivery cannot be achieved by 31st July 2023, the successful supplier will be paid the full value in advance on production of a bank guarantee, and be required to sign a Vesting Certificate (tender Document 6 provided), in order to allow the University to transfer the asset within this academic year.(WA Ref:129779)The buyer considers that this contract is suitable for consortia bidding.
