Notice Title

Crossover Construction Contract

Notice Description

Provide Construction services to Residents and homeowners in Cardiff via Cardiff councilCustomer who wish to have a crossover on the public highway instead of contracting their own builder/ civils company to construct will have to put the request through Cardiff council. Cardiff Council will then instruct the successful tenderer of this contract to carry out the works on the highway. Therefore the cost of the contractor is paid upfront by the customer. The contractor will then submit a monthly invoice showing which crossovers have been constructed. The customer and photo evidence along with spot checks will confirm these are complete and then the contractor invoice will be paid.We currently issue on average 150 licences a year. We don't know how many of these go on to be constructed. We have estimated the value of PS900k based upon max values of PS2k per crossover and all 150 a year being constructed. In reality the value could be much lower for example 100 a year at PS1200 per crossover would only be 360k in total.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=131813.
