Notice Description
The Service Provider has historically delivered Housing Support Grant funded projects. This pre tender report related to 2 separate projects: Sir Julian Hodge Hostel - This is a 24-hour staffed Hostel with 25 units (rooms). The project provides accommodation and support to homeless people aged 18 +, offering short to medium term residencies in preparation for resettlement into permanent homes and helps people with specific needs and problems that are causing or exacerbated by homelessness, for example, substance misuse or mental health problems. Croes Fin - this deliver 18 units, 9 across Cardiff and 9 across the Vale The Croes Ffin project supports people with substance misuse problems who have been discharged from treatment or prison and are homeless or potentially homeless. They will also have been assessed as needing a higher level of support not already available to them in the wider community. The support provided focuses on resettlement, life skills and management of tenancy. It enables people to rebuild, regain and develop the skills and confidence they need to make the transition to independent living and to help them make informed decisions, lifestyle choices and build a future lifestyle without drugs.
