Educational Psychologist Assessments

Notice Description

Welsh Government is looking for an organisation to undertake an assessment of a young person's educational needs on an 'as and when' basis. This assessment and the written report (Learning and Skills Plan) arising from it is a requirement of Section 140 of the Learning and Skills Act. The assessment is intended to enable young people to progress to learning designed to lead where possible to employment and independent living outcomes. The report will identify the young person's education and training needs and suitable learning provision and support required to meet those needs and achieve the intended outcome. A pre-assessment discussion with Welsh Government officials may be required and the need for this will be identified when the assessment is secured.
